Toppik safety - conclusion

All products sold to consumers in the mainstream markets in the western world are subject to a high level of scrutiny and regulation from the health agencies.

Although Toppik is touted by many as a miracle product, it does not actually contain any ingredients that are not commonly found in a huge variety of other products. causing health problems.

That is not to say that with Toppik fraud is an issue. Just think of all the inventions throughout history where common basic materials were used to create new concepts that have driven mankind forward.
The key for inventors and scientific researchers is to engineer these materials in ways that provide radical solutions to existing problems.

One further consideration is the possibility that by covering up exposed scalp, Toppik may actually provide an extra level of protection against the sun. It is well known that the sun is the biggest cause of skin cancer, and anything one can do to avoid exposure to it's harmful UV rays is beneficial.

However, do not use Toppik as an excuse to not take other standard precautions to protect against the sun.

There is no reason why anyone should not give Toppik a go, so long as they keep an eye out for irritation and take the precautions detailed in the previous chapter.
